Greek frigate targets two UVAs in Gulf of Aden, downs one
Greece's frigate Hydra opened fire on two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Gulf of Aden during the early hours of Thursday, utilizing its 127mm main gun, Kathimerini understands.
One of the drones was downed while the other altered its course.
According to information, the air radar of the Greek frigate detected at 5.15 a.m. eight unmanned aerial vehicles.

Greece in talks with the US for co-production of frigates
Greece is in talks with the US to co-produce US-designed Constellation-class frigates, Defense Minister Nikos Dendias said on Monday.
"We are discussing with the US the joint design and co-production of the new generation of Constellation frigates," Dendias said after a meeting with his Cypriot counterpart, Vasilis Palmas in Athens.
Greece to discuss frigate deployment in the Red Sea
A high-ranking Hellenic Navy officer will visit the US naval base in Manama, Bahrain early next week to help plan Greece's role in the operation Prosperity Guardian in the Red Sea.
The operation aims to protect merchant shipping from attacks by Yemen's Houthi rebels, who have declared that any ship destined for Israel is a legitimate target.
