Watch three Chinese warships enter Piraeus port (video)
The citizens of Piraeus had the opportunity to see three Chinese navy ships sail into their port in the framework of the Chinese initiative under the theme “Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit Forum, May 2017. The three ships were the frigate Plans Jing Zhou (FFG-532), the Destroyer Plans Chun (DDG-150) and the Plans Chao Hu (AOR-890) replenishment ship.

Turkish vessel responds to Greek ship's emergency call
A Turkish naval frigate responded to an emergency call from a Greek registered merchant vessel in the Indian Ocean late on Sept. 7, the Turkish Naval Forces has said.
According to a statement, the call came from the Greek ship "Aegean Angel" to the Turkish frigate TCG Giresun for the Greek ship's injured crew.

Turkey starts to make first 'indigenous' frigate
Turkey has started to make its first "indigenous" frigate, dubbed the "Istanbul Frigate," in an official ceremony in Istanbul with the attendance by Defense Minister Fikri Işık and Turkish Naval Forces Commander Bülent Bostanoğlu.

Bulgaria Plans to Refit Two of Its Frigates
The Bulgarian defence ministry is planning to refit two of the frigates currently in service to the navy in order to fully restore their capabilities.
The refitting of Drazki and Verni frigates, both of which used to be in service to the Belgian navy, will be carried at the same time as the acquisition of two new multi-purpose patrol ships.

Two Turkish frigates in Ukraine's Odessa
Two Turkish warships have dropped anchor at the port in the Ukrainian city Odessa on April 3 for a stay of two days.
The two frigates - the TCG Salih Reis (F-246), which is a Barbaros-class frigate, and the TCG Bart?n (F-504), which is a B-class corvette - have anchored in Odessa within the concept of partnership between the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and the Turkish General Staff.

Regina Maria frigate in NATO Black Sea naval group
The Romanian Navy will contribute to military exercises in the Black Sea in March, alongside the Standing NATO Maritime Group-2 (SNMG-2); Romania sends its frigate Regina Maria with a Puma Naval helicopter on board, a release of the Ministry of National Defence informed AGERPRES on Wednesday.

Pics of Turkish frigate “Turgut Reis” at Piraeus port
The The Turkish frigate TCG Turgut Reis reached the port of Piraeus on Saturday.
The frigate belongs to the multinational force SNMG2, along with eight more warships from the US, Canada, Germany, Spain and Italy, while from the Greek side the participant frigate is named “Koundouriotis”. All ships are expected to depart for their next stop later on Sunday.
