KIS condemns repeated vandalism of Trikala's Jewish sites

The Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece (KIS) condemned on Friday the second vandalism of a Jewish site in Trikala, Thessaly, within two days and called for the arrest of the perpetrators and the proper guarding of the site by municipal authorities.
The perpetrators destroyed part of the fence of the town's Holocaust Monument and removed the Star of David.

Holocaust Museum to be built in area administered by Grigore Antipa Museum

Director of the Elie Wiesel National Institute for the Study of the Holocaust in Romania (INSHR) Alexandru Florian on Friday voiced confidence that the Museum of the History of the Jews and the Holocaust in Romania will be built in the space under the administration of the Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History in Bucharest.

Romania-Born Survivor of Mengele’s Experiments Dies at 85

One of the last Romanian-born survivors of Nazi doctor Josef Mengele's infamous experiments on Holocaust camp victims has died in Poland.

Eva Mozes Kor died aged 85 in Krakow, where she was on an annual educational trip with the institute she founded in 1995 to "prevent prejudice and hatred" by sharing her experience in the Nazi camps.
