Dacic: I do not understand Roth's statement

BELGRADE - Commenting on a statement by Michael Roth, Minister of State for Europe at Germany's Foreign Office, that Germany supported Serbia if it was resolved to become a part of the EU rather than Russia, FM Ivica Dacic said he did not understand it.

"Serbia and Russia are traditional friends, but when did Serbia express an intent to be a part of Russia?" he asked.

Dacic receives Dutch ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic on Monday received Dutch Ambassador Hendrik van den Dool, who said he was satisfied with the fact that Serbia's commitment to EU membership remained a priority for its new government.

Congratulating Dacic on his re-appointment, Van den Dool expressed the hope the excellent mutual cooperation would continue in the future.

Dacic, Indian ambassador discuss improvement of cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic on Monday received Indian Ambassador Narinder Chauhan to discuss further improvement of all forms of cooperation, in particular in the economy.

Bilateral relations are registering a positive development, a statement released by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted them as saying.
