What led to Thursday’s Cabinet ousters

The resignations of the minister of state, Stavros Papastavrou, and the deputy minister to the prime minister, Yiannis Bratakos, last Thursday has been attributed to their attendance at the "wrong" social event.

The event turned out to be more than just social, as four days later it led to the ouster of two of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' closest associates.

Washington trip called off due to ND conference

The planned visit to Washington next week by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to attend the annual event commemorating the Greek Revolution has been canceled as it coincides with the conference of ruling New Democracy. 

Mitsotakis was to travel to the US on April 4 to attend the White House event where he was to also have a meeting with President Joe Biden. 

Mitsotakis, Trudeau hail Greek-Canadian relations in joint statement

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau in Montreal on Sunday and attended the signing of an agreement for Greece's purchase of seven new state-of-the art firefighting aircraft (DHC-515).
