Turkey steps up to act against Israeli plans on West Bank

As Turkey steps up to mobilize the international community against Israeli plans to annex West Bank, Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavuşoğlu on May 21 had phone conversations with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Yousef Al-Othaimeen.

Turkey, Moldova sign medical aid agreement

International agreements signed by Turkey with Moldova, and Palestine in the field of health were published in the country's Official Gazette on May 20. 

According to the gazette, the "agreement between the government of the Republic of Turkey and the government of the Republic of Moldova on donation in the field of health" was signed on April 17 in Ankara.

Turkey sends aid to Palestine to fight coronavirus

Turkey's state-run aid agency on April 24 sent medical aid to Palestine amid the fight against novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) delivered medical and personal care packages to Palestinian health officials at a ceremony held at the Health Ministry building in Ramallah.

Turkish hospital opens in Gaza Strip

The Palestine-Turkey Friendship Hospital in Gaza began operating as part of efforts to curb the novel coronavirus, Palestine's government said March 31.

Palestinian government spokesman Ibrahim Melhim said President Mahmoud Abbas and his Turkish counterpart,

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, agreed during a telephone call to start operations at the hospital.

Turkey assures Palestine of help to fight coronavirus

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas over the phone on March 21, reaffirming Turkey's support to Palestine in its fight against the novel coronavirus.

According to a statement by the Communications Directorate, Erdoğan and Abbas held a phone call to discuss recent developments and regional issues.
