Depardieu "happy Serbia does not follow EU"

BELGRADE -- Gerard Depardieu is in Belgrade this Thursday where he said he was happy that Serbia does not follow EU's lead and has not imposed sanctions on Russia.

Parliament elects new economy minister

BELGRADE -- The Serbian national assembly on Wednesday elected Željko Sertić as the country's new minister of economy.

Sertić was elected with 178 votes in favor and four against, and then took the oath of office before members of parliament.

BELGRADE -- The MiG 29 jets of the Serbian Air Force can fly again thanks to the batteries donated by the Russian Federation.

Investment protection agreement signed with Canada

BELGRADE -- Serbian Minister of Trade Rasim Ljajić and Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird an investment promotion and protection agreement between the two countries.
