At least 280 Dead and over 900 Injured in a Crash between Two Trains in India
More than 280 people were killed in the crash between two passenger trains in the Indian state of Odisha, and about 900 were injured. The death toll is expected to rise, local authorities have warned.
More than 200 ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and more than 100 medics were additionally mobilized.

At Least 25 Dead as Bus Falls Into Canal in Southern India
At least 25 people, many of them schoolchildren, were killed when a speeding bus fell into a canal in southern India on Saturday, an official and media reports said, quoted by ABC News.
The accident occurred in Mandya district as the driver lost control of the vehicle while going at a high speed, said G. Parameshwaran, the Karnataka state deputy chief minister.
