BELGRADE - At an extraordinary session on Tuesday, the Serbian government declared September 27 a day of mourning over tragic events in Kosovo-Metohija.

BRUSSELS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said before a Brussels meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday evening he was very concerned over developments across Kosovo-Metohija, not only in the north of the territory.

"This visit is very important to us because this is becoming more and more a security issue, not only a political issue," he said.

BELGRADE - The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) on Monday wrote to UEFA over the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and Pristina's ban on competitions organised by Serbs in the province.

The urgent letter to UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin and Secretary General Theodore Theodoridis was signed by FSS President Dragan Dzajic and Secretary General Jovan Surbatovic.

BELGRADE - The Srpska list has said in a statement that attacks that occurred in northern Kosovska Mitrovica on Friday deserve every condemnation and punishment and are not a way to defuse tensions.

GRACANICA - The future community of Serb municipalities will be funded by Belgrade, Pristina and the international community, and the Serbian government will continue to support the Kosovo-Metohija Serbs financially, the head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija, Marko Djuric, said in Gracanica on Tuesday.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The Srpska List called on Albanian leaders in Kosovo-Metohija and representatives of the Kosovo government and parliament to pass a bill setting up a court that would try war crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), and thus contribute to reconciliation.

BELGRADE - The Serbian side has fully respected the Brussels agreement but Pristina is not implementing it adequately, Director of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said.
