Oceanographer paves way for coral studies in Türkiye
After completing her oceanography education in France, a Turkish scientist has returned to the country to conduct research on coral species in the depths of the Marmara Sea that have never been studied before.

Legendary French football manager and former player Zinedine Zidane has stayed in Istanbul for two weeks for hair transplant, local media has reported.

Istanbul derby sides move on to European stage
Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, which clashed in an Istanbul derby over the weekend, appear on the European stage again on Nov. 25 when the former hosts Marseille in Istanbul and the latter visits Olympiacos in the Europa League.
Nov. 21's derby pitted the two teams against each other, with the visiting side Fenerbahçe claiming a 2-1 victory with a late goal.

Marseille-Galatasaray match halted after rivals fans clash
The Europa League game between Marseille and Galatasaray was interrupted for about 10 minutes after rival fans threw flares and firecrackers at each other at Stade Velodrome on Sept. 30.
The match finished 0-0 but pockets of rival fans were fighting inside the stadium more than 30 minutes after the final whistle.
