Turkey reshuffles key envoys

A long-awaited decree reshuffling the Foreign Ministry’s key diplomats has been finalized with appointments to crucial posts like Moscow, Tehran, Rome and Madrid. One of the most important reshuffles is the appointment of deputy undersecretary Ömer Önhon, who was responsible for the Middle East, particularly Syria, to Madrid as Turkey’s ambassador.

Veljovic attends int'l drug enforcement conference in Rome

ROME - Serbian Police Director Milorad Veljovic is attending an International Drug Enforcement Conference (IDEC) in Rome that the Italian central directorate for anti-drug services is organizing with the support of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the United States.

The main topic of the conference is the seizure of the criminal assets gained through drug trafficking.

BG Flag Carrier Bulgaria Air Starts Partnership with Emirates

Bulgaria's flag carrier Bulgaria Air signed a partnership contract with the Dubai airline Emirates, report the Bulgarian-language media. 

The two companies will codeshare flights between New York and Dubai, with prices applicable both for business and economy class. The flights will be with one stopover in Milan, Vienna, Athens, Larnaka, Rome, Amsterdam or Frankfurt.

Bulgaria is on the top 10 list of most preferred summer vacation spots for Russian tourists, who do not travel in organized groups, reports Interfax. 

The top three positions are taken by Spain, Italy and Portugal. The list is completed by Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, France the Czech republic, Germany and Great Britain.
