Judicial council rejects, for third time, N17 terrorist Koufodinas' request for 7th furlough
A Greek judicial council on Friday issued a third rejection of an application by convicted November 17 terrorist Dimitris Koufodinas for a seventh furlough.
The judges on the Volos-based council unanimously adopted the proposal of a prosecutor who had proposed that Koufodinas' appeal be rejected on the grounds that he has shown no remorse for his terrorist activities.

November 17 hitman applies for fresh leave from prison
Convicted terrorist Dimitris Koufodinas was summoned in front of a judicial council in the eastern town of Volos to respond to objections regarding his application for a new leave from prison.
Cleaner in Ioannina convicted to eight years over forged school certificate
A cleaner was convicted to eight years in prison for forging her elementary school certificate to get a job at the hospital in Ioannina, northwestern Greece, it emerged on Thursday.
The woman, a mother of 13 children, was also convicted for making a false statement in order to profit, a news website in the town of Preveza reported. It was not clear when the trial was held.
Six more suspicious envelopes sent to Greek campuses
After Greek authorities collected on Thursday 12 suspicious envelopes sent to universities around the country, more letters were delivered Friday to six separate campuses.
Police was told universities in Ioannina, Rethymno, Patra, Corinth and Lamia received similar envelopes, as well as the private Mediterranean College in Thessaloniki.
Nine checked over powder-filled campus letters
Police in Greece say nine people have received medical attention as a precaution after letters containing white powder were sent to five university campuses around the country.

Avramopoulos's office issues clarification on role of officer tied to gold trading racket
