Azerbaijan shoots down Armenian military helicopter: Baku

Azerbaijani forces on Nov. 12 shot down an Armenian military helicopter, the defence ministry in Baku said, in a dramatic flare-up in the arch-foes' longstanding conflict over Nagorny Karabakh.
      
The downing marks the most serious military incident along the Karabakh frontier since the 1994 ceasefire that ended a bloody conflict over the disputed region.

French President Francois Hollande hosts leaders from Armenia and Azerbaijan today as Europe makes a fresh push to end the festering conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.

Armenia hands invitation letter to Erdoğan to mark 100th anniversary of 1915

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian has officially invited Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to a ceremony that will mark the 100th anniversary of the killing of Ottoman Armenians in 1915.

Nalbandian attended Erdoğan’s inauguration ceremony in Ankara on Aug. 28, where he handed him the official letter to attend the ceremony next year.
