SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's AmRest Coffee, part of Polish restaurant operator AmRest Holdings, said on Wednesday it opened the first coffee shop under the Starbucks brand in the city of Plovdiv. The new store, located in Mall Plovdiv shopping centre, offers a commercial area of 240 square metres with seating for 121 people, AmRest Coffee said in a statement.

TFI TAB Food Investments (TFI TAB Gıda), the Turkish company that controls the largest international Burger King franchise, filed on Nov. 13 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to raise up to $400 million in an initial public offering in New York’s Nasdaq.

Two shopkeepers accused of savagely beating two teenage Syrian refugees with clubs were detained in Turkey's southern province of Hatay on April 6.
