Local carmaker Dacia on Tuesday partially resumed business at its mechanical and chassis plant as well as at the stamping shop of the assembly plant, both at Mioveni, planning to fully open both on May 4, according to Renault Romania Group, Dacia's owner.
Dacia Car Workers Threaten Strikes in Romania
Workers at Romania's main carmaker, Dacia, are planning strike action following failed negotiations with management over higher salaries and bonuses.
Trade unions have asked management to increase salaries by 15 per cent and want a yearly performance bonus of 2,300 lei (510 euro).
