Unior

Zreče – Unior, a Zreče-based group specialising in forged metals and tools, continues posting positive business results, having generated EUR 8.1 million in profit in the first nine months of the year after posting a loss of EUR 4.9 million in the same period last year.

Zreče – Unior, a Zreče-based group specialising in forged steel and tools, has signed a contract with the SID development and export bank on a EUR 5.7 million loan for the financing of a new line of aluminium products. The 12-year loan involves a six-year moratorium on principal repayment.

Štore – Štore Steel, a leading Slovenian steel producer, returned to loss in 2020 as a result of the pandemic after operating with a profit for eight years. Its loss reached EUR 2.5 million, which compares to a profit of EUR 2.8 million in 2019. Revenue dropped by 24% to EUR 85.7 million.

Ljubljana – The shareholders of energy group Petrol appointed new supervisors on Monday and voted against a proposal to take legal action against the former management for alleged damages over multiple high-profile transactions.

Two current supervisors – chief supervisor Sašo Berger and Mladen Kaliterna – received new terms.
