Chadian dictator Hissene Habre went on trial July 20 in Senegal, a quarter of a century after his bloodsoaked reign came to an end, in a trial seen as a test case for African justice.
ISIL claims attack that kills five members of Egypt's security forces
Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant's (ISIL) Egypt affiliate said in a statement on a social media site it carried out an attack in North Sinai on military checkpoints that killed five members of the country's security forces on July 18.
The deaths occurred when several mortar rounds hit two checkpoints, security sources said earlier.
