Bulgarian Women's Volleyball Team Qualifies for Eurovolley
The national women's volleyball team of Bulgaria will be able to participate in the European volleyball championship next year after beating Switzerland on Friday.
It took the Bulgarians five games to defeat their opponent 3:2 (20:25, 25:17, 23:25, 25:15, 15:12), with local sports websites suggesting they had underestimated the Swiss team.

Bulgarian MEP Andrey Kovatchev has reiterated that Sofia and Bucharest will refuse to sign a the free-trade deal between EU and Canada unless an indication is given about the removal of Canadian visa requirements for the two respective countries.
Canada is to send the signal soon, Kovatchev has told the Bulgarian National Radio.

Strong Earthquake Hits Eastern Romania
There have been no reports of injured people after a strong earthquake hit the area of Vrancea in Romania, a known seismic zone.
The epicenter was at a depth of 112 km beneath the surface, 153 km north of the capital Bucharest local media quote officials from Romania's geophysics institute as saying.

Vucic meets with Ciolos, Kern, Filip, Bettel
NEW YORK - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday met with the heads of government of Romania, Austria, Moldova and Luxembourg on the fringes of a UNGA session in New York.
Vucic and his Romanian counterpart Dacian Ciolos agreed to hold their next meeting in Belgrade or Bucharest soon.

Bulgaria to Prepare Roadmap on Canadian Visa Liberalization
Bulgaria will draft a roadmap for the criteria it needs to fulfill to get visa liberalization for travels to Canada, the leaders of the two countries have agreed.
Meeding Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has said the text will be put forward for consideration "as soon as possible", the Bulgarian Presidency quotes Plevneliev as saying.
