Bulgarians will Spend up to 24% of their Monthly Income for Christmas Gifts
Bulgarian households will spend up to 24% of the monthly income for Christmas gifts. This is the study of the Christmas Barometer 2017 by Feratum Group. By this indicator, Bulgaria is ranked fifth among the countries participating in the survey, which are 20.
More than 60% of the Companies will Give out Bonuses for Christmas
About 64% of employers plan to offer Christmas bonuses to their employees, 21% will not provide such bonuses, and 15% have not yet decided. This shows a poll conducted among members of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
The consultation was carried out between 22-29 November 2017.

German Police Prevented an Explosion at a Christmas Market in Potsdam
German police evacuated the Christmas market and the surrounding area in the city of Potsdam near the capital Berlin to check out a suspicious object that appears to contain an explosive device, news agencies said.

An average of 235 leva will be spent online for Christmas shopping this year by Bulgarian Internet users. That's 4 percent more than a year earlier, according to a study by Pazaruvaj.com.
