Shops to open Sunday ahead of Easter holidays
Retail stores will have the option to stay open on Sunday ahead of the Easter break next week, the Confederation of Greek Commerce said on Tuesday, following reactions from some professionals against Sunday operation.

Fewer cars left capital for Easter weekend
There was a marked reduction in the number of people leaving Athens on Good Friday and Easter Saturday this year compared to 2013, according to statistics provided by the traffic police.
A total of 382,859 cars passed the Athens-Corinth highway tolls on the two days, which was 3.1 percent lower than last year.

Rail workers threaten Easter holiday strikes
Workers at Greeces national railway service are planning rolling 24-hour strikes during the Easter holiday, from Good Friday to the Monday after, in demand of a new collective labor agreement between staff and management.
The workers are also taking issue with the planned privatization of railway operator Trainose.
