Victims of military helicopter accident remembered in military and religious ceremonies

Military and religious ceremonies have started this morning at all military facilities in Romania and at such facilities abroad where Romanian troops operate to remember eight soldiers who died in a recent military helicopter accident.

Defence Ministry: Servicemen injured in air crash will be brought to Bucharest by military aircraft

The two servicemen wounded in the air crash that took place in Sibiu County will be brought with a military C-27 J Spartan aircraft from Targu Mures to Bucharest, a release of the Ministry of National Defence remitted to AGERPRES informs.

Gasic and Moro discuss military cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbia's Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic and French Ambassador to Serbia Christine Moro discussed on Monday ways of improving the military cooperation between the two countries.

Gasic and Moro agreed that defence relations were good and provided an incentive for other EU countries to view Serbia as a reliable partner.

Commemoration for those who died in Belgrade's liberation

BELGRADE - A commemoration was held on Monday for the Yugoslav Partisan and Red Army troops who died in the battle for Belgrade's liberation from Nazi occupation, which ended in victory on October 20, 1944, 70 years ago.

Minister for War Veteran Affairs Aleksandar Vulin and Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali laid wreaths at the cemetery dedicated to Belgrade's liberators.
