Bulgaria's PM: We Will Not Accept Additional Conditions for Schengen Membership

"Bulgaria will continue its current actions to protect the external borders of the European Union, but will certainly not accept additional conditions", said Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov.

According to him, Schengen by air means more amenities at airports and fewer queues.

Air Pollution Exceedances in the Country Have Decreased by 60%

Over a period of about eight years, from 2011 to 2018, there is nearly 60% decrease of the air pollution exceed levels at the stations which monitor air cleanliness in the country.
