Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of the Philippines. This was announced by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

There are no reports of casualties, damage or a tsunami threat, TASS reports.

An undersea earthquake, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, rattled Greece's southern Aegean island of Karpathos on Wednesday, but there were no initial reports of damage or injuries.

According to the National Observatory's Geodynamic Institute, the quake's epicenter was located 81 kilometers southeast of Karpathos.

Another strong earthquake was just recorded off the Greek island of Karpathos in the southern Aegean Sea, Kathimerini reports.

According to the information, the 5.9 magnitude quake was felt at 1:21 pm local time. Its epicentre is 74 kilometers southeast of Karpathos and at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center data.

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake shook western Turkey 15 km east of Kirkagac, the US Geophysical Center said on Thursday. The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center adds that the epicentre of the earthquake was 94 km east of Izmir.

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake was registered southwest of Indonesia's Aceh Autonomous Region on Sumatra Island, Reuters reported, citing the American Geophysical Institute.

The depth of the earthquake was 20.3 km.

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran near Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, according to the US Geophysical Institute, cited by Reuters.

The quake's epicentre was less than 50 km from Iran's only nuclear power plant.

At least three people were killed and 20 were injured in the earthquake that struck northeastern Iran today, AFP and TASS reported. CNN has reported five casualties.

A 6.3-magnitude earthquake shook the Pacific island state of Vanuatu, according to the US Geological Survey, cited by Reuters.

There are no data on casualties or damages. The epicentre of the quake was about 58 km north of Isangel. The depth was 226 km below the seabed.

There is no evidence of injuries or material damage after the 4.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred on Sunday night on the territory of Bulgaria. 

According to data from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the earthquake was 4.2 and it was registered at 21:01 with epicenter coordinates 42.69 N; 24.42 E,  located 90 km east of Sofia and 3 km southwest of Klissura.
