Moderate tremor rattles Karpathos

An undersea earthquake, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, rattled Greece's southern Aegean island of Karpathos on Wednesday, but there were no initial reports of damage or injuries.

According to the National Observatory's Geodynamic Institute, the quake's epicenter was located 81 kilometers southeast of Karpathos.

5.9 Magnitude Еarthquake Registered off the Greek Island of Karpathos

Another strong earthquake was just recorded off the Greek island of Karpathos in the southern Aegean Sea, Kathimerini reports.

According to the information, the 5.9 magnitude quake was felt at 1:21 pm local time. Its epicentre is 74 kilometers southeast of Karpathos and at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center data.

There is No Evidence of Injuries or Material Damage After the 4.1 Magnitude Earthquake on Sunday

There is no evidence of injuries or material damage after the 4.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred on Sunday night on the territory of Bulgaria. 

According to data from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the earthquake was 4.2 and it was registered at 21:01 with epicenter coordinates 42.69 N; 24.42 E,  located 90 km east of Sofia and 3 km southwest of Klissura.
