KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The retrial of Civic Initiative SDP leader Oliver Ivanovic, which began before the Kosovska Mitrovica Basic Court on Friday with the opening arguments of the defence and the prosecution, has been scheduled to resume on April 27 with witness statements.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The international panel of judges of the Kosovska Mitrovica Basic Court on Wednesday ordered a house arrest for Civic Initiative SDP leader Oliver Ivanovic.

The Pristina Court of Appeals last week ordered a retrial in Ivanovic's case, throwing out a first-instance ruling sentencing him to nine years in prison for war crimes against civilians committed in 1999.

PRISTINA - Members of the Drenica Group who are charged with war crimes committed against civilians in the prison camp of former (ethnic Albanian paramilitary unit) Kosovo Liberation Army in 1998 have been released pending trial, Pristina media reported.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Leader of the Citizens' Initiative 'Freedom, Democracy, Justice' (SDP) Oliver Ivanovic and four more Serbs charged with grave crimes committed against ethnic Albanians in 1999 and 2000 pleaded not guilty at the trial which began in the Kosovska Mitrovica Basic Court on Thursday.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The leader of the Citizens' Initiative "Freedom, Democracy, Justice" (GI SDP) Oliver Ivanovic will for the first time appear before a judge of the northern Kosovska Mitrovica Basic Court on Tuesday and plead on the indictment charging him with war crime and incitement to murder.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Six months expired on Sunday since the arrest of Oliver Ivanovic as one of the political leaders of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs, and the indictment against him has not been raised yet.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Dragoljub Delibasic, a former police chief in the Serb-majority part of Kosovska Mitrovica, will be transferred from detention in Pristina to the detention centre in Kosovska Mitrovica, his lawyer Miodrag Brkljac confirmed on Friday.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - By the decision of the Kosovska Mitrovica Basic Court, lawyers Dejan A. Vasic and Faruk Korenica were released from custody on Wednesday, EULEX spokesperson Irina Gudeljevic told Tanjug.
