VKS president: Defense Ministry did nothing wrong
BELGRADE - President of Serbia's Supreme Court of Cassation (VKS) Dragomir Milojevic has said that the Serbian Ministry of Defense did not do anything wrong when they decided not to provide Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic with documents he had requested concerning an incident currently dealt with in a pre-investigative procedure.

VBA did not breach law, heated debate at committee meeting
BELGRADE - The Military Security Agency (VBA) did not violate any laws, and Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic failed to provide strong evidence that leaders of trade unions, high-ranking party officials, prosecutors and judges were under audio surveilance, the Serbian parliament committee for monitoring security agencies has concluded.

BELGRADE - Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic stated on Wednesday that he has not asserted that the Military Security Agency (VBA) violated the law in the incident last autumn, which involved members of the VBA and the Gendarmerie, but that he learned that this happened, so it was his duty to check it.

BELGRADE -- Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic has released some of the documents of the Interior Ministry(MUP) about the incident during the Pride Parade in Belgrade.
Based on these he pressed criminal charges against two members of the Military Police. On September 28 last year, they clashed with members of the MUP Gendarmerie unit.

Serbian Ombudsman Files Charges Over PM's Brother's Assault
Sasa Jankovic, Serbian ombudsman, on Wednesday said he had filed criminal charges over the incident that occurred during Gay Parade when members of the Gendarmerie clashed with four persons, two of whom were Andrej Vucic, brother of the Prime Minister, and Predrag Mali, brother of the Mayor of Belgrade.

BELGRADE -- The Bureau for Coordination of Security Services met on Friday and formed "a permanent mixed working group for fight against terrorism."
The meeting was chaired by Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, the government's media office said in a statement.
