Serbia Toughens Inspections of 'Grey' Economy
Serbia is giving more powers to inspectors to clamp down on the untaxed "grey" economy following adoption of a new Law on Inspection Control in April.
Inspectors are now entitled to enter any premises where they consider unregistered work is taking place unannounced - without warning to the owners or tenants.

Grey Economy Costing Serbia Dear, Expert Says
The untaxed "grey" economy in Serbia is still cost the country about 30 per cent of its GDP, Nikola Altiparmakov, a member of the independent Fiscal Council, told parliament's Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending on Monday.

Future law on fees to introduce electronic system
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic announced on Thursday the adoption of a new law on fees, which will envisage the introduction of an electronic system for filing and paying fees.
He said that a working group tasked with drafting the law was formed two days ago, adding that this document will be drafted in the next few months.
