Serbia, Africa together in defending their interests

BELGRADE - Due to a growing intolerance and insecurity among nations and, especially, a world polarized by superpowers, the people of Serbia and the African nations can unite and defend their interests since a common danger requires a common reaction, Pan-African Parliament President Roger Nkodo Dang said Wednesday.

Meeting of Romania's Senate, Serbia's National Assembly committees for foreign affairs

The members of the Romanian Senate's committee for foreign affairs on Monday had a meeting with the delegation of the committee for foreign affairs of the National Assembly of Serbia, as part of the delegation's official visit to Romania, informs a press release remitted to AGERPRES.

Chepurin announces conference in Belgrade on May 5-6

BELGRADE -Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin has said that Serbia and Russia should
hold a joint news conference, dedicated to the centenary of the beginning of World War I, in Belgrade on May 5-6.

A delegation of the Russian State Duma led by Speaker Sergey Naryshkin will take part in the conference, Chepurin told Itar-Tass.

Nikolic: Vucic-next prime minister

KRAGUJEVAC - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said on Monday that leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Aleksandar Vucic will be the next prime minister, but that he will begin talks with the prime minister-designate after the formation of parliamentary groups in the Serbian parliament and discussions with them.
