A letter to the Minister of Tourism, Haris Theocharis, was sent by the Panhellenic Hoteliers Federation (PHF), in which it refers to the lack of available rooms in quarantine hotels and asks tourists who are positive for the virus to be isolated in the places they have rented.

The measures announced by the government are in the right direction for the resumption of business in the tourism industry but there was still room for "significant improvements" and initiatives in labour and tax issues, the head of Greece's leading tourism association SETE said on Thursday.
