Turkish Airlines named top service exporter in 2022
Turkish Airlines has been awarded the top services exporter title for the year 2022, the national flag carrier has announced.
The company generated $15.8 billion in revenues from services exports last year, which marked a strong 70 percent increase from 2021, the carrier said in a statement.
Türkiye targets $125 bln in service export revenues this year
Türkiye aims to boost its revenues from service exports to $125 billion this year, says Ahmet Bolat, the head of the Services Exporters' Association (HİB).
"We are expecting a strong contribution to export revenues from the travel, tourism, education and health services," said Bolat, who is also the chairman of Turkish Airlines' Board and Executive Committee.

The government aims to strengthen trade with public and private sector investments, Trade Minister Mehmet Muş has said, noting that Türkiye has been constantly increasing its share of the global exports.
Turkey to ease visa requirements for medical tourism
Turkey on Oct. 15 authorized the Services Exporters' Association (HIB) in the country to ease visa requirements for foreign visitors coming to Turkey for medical tourism.
Trade Ministry and Foreign Ministry signed an agreement, the Medical Visa Cooperation Protocol, to authorize the HIB.
Successful Turkish series awarded
The Turkish Electronics and Services Exporters' Association (TET) organized an award ceremony to present awards for "Promoting high value-added exports" and the productions that brought in the highest export revenue last year.
