Bulgaria's Defense Minister Summoned to Sofia Investigation Office
Outgoing Defense Minister Nikolay Nenchev received a new summons to the Sofia Investigation Office late in December, his institution says.
No reason has been mentioned in the Defense Ministry's statement.
However, in just over a month the minister in resignation has been handed two indictments on two separate charges.
Bulgaria Nationalist Leader, MP Released on Bail after 'Unlawful Arrest'
The Sofia City Court (SCC) has ruled nationalist leader Volen Siderov and a party member Desislav Chukolov should be released on bail only several hours after having been detained on Tuesday.
Siderov and Chukolov are facing charges of hooliganism. They were indicted and taken into custody for 72 hours upon arrival at the Sofia Investigation Office on Tuesday.
Judge Rumyana Chenalova Detained for 72 Hours
Bulgaria's prosecuting authority has announced that judge Rumyana Chenalova, who has been sought nationwide since Tuesday noon, is now in custody.
Chenalova is now facing pre-trial proceedings for professional misconduct and a document-related offence.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Sofia University in 1994 and became trainee judge at the Sofia District Court.

KTB's CEO, Chief Accountant Interrogated Again in Embezzlement Probe
Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB) Chief Executive Orlin Rusev and Chief Accountant Mariya Dimova were interrogated in Bulgaria's capital Sofia on Monday.
The two senior employees are under investigation for allegedly having embezzled BGN 206 M from the bank. In mid-July the Sofia Prosecutor's Office announced it would not demand that they be placed into custody.
