Erdo?an: Western response to refugee crisis a 'crime against humanity'

President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has once again criticized western countries for their response to the global refugee crisis, describing it as a ?crime against humanity.?

?We now have over two million refugees; we could not have left them under the bombs,? Erdo?an said June 21 at a meeting in Istanbul.

The number of people going away from their homes has increased by 8,3 million since 2013, marking the biggest increase in history, according to a recent UNHCR global trends report, entitled ''World at War''.
