US Embassy Slates Kosovo Over ‘Unethical’ Appointments
The US Embassy in Kosovo on Tuesday criticised what it called a series of politically driven appointments of "unqualified" officials who either have war crime convictions or are indicted for serious crimes or suspected of abuses of power.
Thaci Backtracks on Establishing Kosovo Army
A month after he launched his move to set up an army by submitting a bill to parliament to strengthen the Kosovo Security Force, Thaci did a U-turn on Tuesday and said that he has restarted attempts to ensure collective support among all Kosovo's communities to undertake the necessary constitutional changes.

NATO Chief Rebukes Thaci Over Kosovo Army Plan
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said he had spoken by phone on Wednesday with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Isa Mustafa to convey the "serious concerns of NATO allies" about recent proposals by the Kosovo authorities to transform the Kosovo Security Force, KSF, into an army without prior constitutional changes and consent across all communities.
