New AKP Leader Binali Yildirim Working to Form Turkey's New Government

Turkey's incoming Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has said he is preparing a list of cabinet ministers after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan asked him to form the country's new government.

"It is not the first time a government is formed in Turkey," Yildirim told reporters in Ankara on Monday, according to AFP.

Moscow on Davutoglu's resignation: Erdogan plays key role

The resignation of Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu "will not significantly affect the Russian-Turkish relations."

That is the case "because the key role is played by the intentions (Turkish) President Recep Tayyip Erdogan," chair of the Russian State Duma Committee for International Affairs Alexei Pushkov told the Rossiya 24 broadcaster on Thursday.
