With the latest news of human tragedies coming from Aleppo, one phase of the Syrian civil war is about to be closed.

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said he wishes to visit the spouse of a deceased Russian pilot who was killed after Turkish warplanes shot down a Russian aircraft on Nov. 24, 2015, over an alleged airspace violation.

Turkey has proposed sending an international aid convoy to Aleppo, the long-besieged Syrian city where around 300,000 people are facing shortages of food, medication and other essential supplies, at a critical meeting held in Swiss city Lausanne with the U.S., Russia and neighboring countries to Syria.

Police in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır have revealed a list of codes used by al-Qaeda militants in Turkey to communicate with militants in conflict areas, as they worked to uncover details of a 2015 attack on a party rally in southeastern Turkey which killed four people and wounded 210 others.
 

A poison recipe was found in a house belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra militants in Ankara, according to an indictment prepared by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Bureau of Crimes Investigation Committed against the Constitutional Order.

Turkish anti-terror police officers in the southern province of Adana have detained a total of 11 suspected al-Nusra militants after conducting simultaneous operations across the city center to apprehend some 13 suspects. 

There are no plans to storm the Syrian city of Aleppo despite thousands of Al-Nusra militants massing around the city, the Russian military general staff, which is providing air support to the Syrian army, said on April 11. 

Some 16 people were detained on March 30 in Turkey's southeastern province of Ad?yaman over alleged links to Jabhat al-Nusra.

Turkey's president has described the war-torn country as an "exporter of terrorism" fuelled by chaos inside the country.

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) head Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu has repeated accusations that the Turkish government has sent arms to jihadist groups in Syria. 

"Turkey should not lend armed support to jihadist groups in Syria such as [the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant] ISIL," K?l?çdaro?lu said during his Feb. 16 address to the CHP's parliamentary group.
