US Senate: Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue Remains Key Issue in Western Balkans

The Kosovo-Serbia dialogue remains one of the main issues of concern in the Western Balkans, the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on Thursday heard.

State Department Counsellor Derek Chollet warned: "We are not seeing great effort on the implementation of this agreement by either party."

Turkish President is on a Working Visit in Serbia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived on a two-day official visit to Serbia, reported bTV.

He is in Belgrade with a large delegation composed of 185 businessmen and eight Turkish ministers. Today Erdogan will talk with his colleague Alexandar Vucic.

Focus on the discussions will be economic themes, energy projects and more specifically "Turkish Stream".

Serbia, Russia Agree on Repayment Plant for Gas Debt

Serbia has reached agreement with Russia on the repayment of its gas debt and is expected to have deliveries fully restored.

Serbian Prime Minister Alexandar Vucic, as cited by DPA, said that he had agreed on a plan for debt repayment to Russian state gas giant Gazprom in a telephone conversation with President Vladimir Putin.
