English-Slovenian couple cycle for cancer patients
Alice and Žiga Erlač Shepherd, an English-Slovenian couple, will cycle from Maribor to Southampton and back to collect donations for cancer patients in Slovenia and England and to raise awareness about cancer and about the importance of expanding the registry of stem cell donors.

Double Wenders | Athens | May 8
The Goethe Institute (14-16 Omirou, goethe.de) is screening two Wim Wenders classics on Monday, free of charge, in a tribute organized in cooperation with the Premiere Nights Athens Film Festival to Michel Demopoulos, the filmmaker and former artistic director of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival who passed away last month.

Disney marks centenary with retrospective
Disney is putting its cultural legacy on show in Germany in a multimedia exhibition featuring memorabilia from the Magic Kingdom, including the first ticket to Disneyland and drawings from its most famous animated pictures.
From Mickey Mouse to Marvel, the U.S. entertainment titan's celebration of its centenary opened in Munich last week, the first stop on its European tour.

Alicia’s Time exhibition opens in Ankara
Mexican Embassy in the Turkish capital Ankara hosted a photo exhibition on March 4, reflecting the famous novel 'Alice in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll, which will remain open for a month until March 28.
The exhibition is organized with the collaboration of Çankaya Municipality in the capital.
