Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh has broken Stefka Kostadinova's long-standing world record in the women's high jump. The 22-year-old Mahuchikh cleared 2.10 meters on her first attempt at this height during the Diamond League athletics tournament in Paris, as reported by BTA.

JERUSALEM - Serbian high jumper Angelina Topic won the gold medal at the U20 European Athletics Championship in Jerusalem on Wednesday evening.

With a 1.90 m jump, Topic claimed her second career U20 European title.

Serbian athlete Angelina Topi (17) won a bronze medal in the high jump final of the European Championships in Munich.
Only Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Marija Vukovi "flew" over 195.
Both jumpers cleared 1.95m, but the Ukrainian won the title on count back.
Angelina Topic rounded off the podium with a 1.93m-clearance.
