‘Cabaret,’ ‘Life of Pi’ win big at Olivier Awards
An intimate, sold-out production of "Cabaret" was the big winner at Olivier Awards on April 10, taking seven prizes including acting trophies for its high-voltage stars, Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley.
Literary adaptation "Life of Pi" took five awards including best new play.

Serbs Petition Town To Name Street After Hawking
Locals in the Serbian town of Cacak have launched a petition to name a street after Stephen Hawking, who died on March 14 after a long battle with motor neurone disease.
"One of the greatest minds of the twentieth century undoubtedly deserves a street in Cacak to bear his name," the petition published online said.

Leonardo DiCaprio has finally won his first Oscar for his performance in survival epic The Revenant.
He was named best actor at the 88th Academy Awards that took place on February 28 at Dolby Theatre, Hollywood.

'Well done Eddie': Hawking hails Redmayne on Oscar win
Astrophysicist Stephen Hawking on Feb. 23 congratulated British actor Eddie Redmayne, who won an Oscar for playing him in the film "The Theory of Everything".
"Well done Eddie, I'm very proud of you," the wheelchair-bound academic, who suffers from motor neurone disease, said in a Facebook post.
