Mati wildfire: Court to issue verdicts six year after tragedy on Monday
Six years after the devastating wildfire in Attica's seaside town of Mati and nearby areas, which claimed 104 lives and left dozens injured, a three-member misdemeanors court will issue its verdicts on the 21 defendants on Monday.

Marathonas residents group call for probe into water cuts
A group of residents from Marathonas have called for a judicial investigation into a 21-day water cut in their town, accusing mayor Ilias Psinakis of inertia.
The around 2,000 residents of the Dikastina settlement say have been without running water since February 1, with no explanation from Psinakis.

Marathon municipal council votes to oust mayor over wildfire tragedy
The municipal council of Marathon on Friday night voted unanimously for the resignation of city Mayor Ilias Psinakis, whom they accuse of negligence in the deadly fires that killed at least 88 people in east Attica.
Twenty-five of the 33 municipal councillors participated in an emergency session called to discuss the role of the mayor. Psinakis was not present.
