Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) head Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has criticized the state-run TRT for broadcasting a rally of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his scheduled live interview with the TV channel.

Turkey should be part of peace, not war: Main opposition CHP head

Following the U.S. airstrike on a Syrian regime chemical weapons depot, main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said on April 7 that Turkey should be "part of peacemaking, not war."
"The use of chemical weapons is not something that can just be palmed off by bombing, the real culprits need to be found and punished," Kılıçdaroğlu said.

Justice minister denies tracking emails of CHP head

Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ has denied tracking main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's emails, calling his remarks on the issue "slander."

"Can such a thing ever happen? Tracking emails is something unlawful. There is no such thing. This is slander," Bozdağ told Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi.
