Netflix releases teaser for '100 Years of Solitude'
Netflix on April 17 released a sneak peek of its TV series adaptation of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "One Hundred Years of Solitude," coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the Nobel Prize-winning author's death.
Published in 1967, the novel is considered a masterpiece that defined "magical realism" as a literary genre and has been translated into 46 languages.
First Bulgarian Author Nominated for the “Booker” Award!
"Time Shelter" (Vremeubezhishte) by Georgi Gospodinov has entered the long list of nominations for the most prestigious international award given for a specific literary work, reported "Janet 45" - the Bulgarian publisher of the novel. The book was translated by the American Angela Rodel, who also became part of the nomination for the international "Booker".

Vargas Llosa to Open Montenegrin Theatre Festival
The famous writer and Nobel Prize winner Mario Vargas Llosa is coming to Montenegro on June 19, at the invitation of publishing house Nova knjiga, which has published several of his works.
During a three-day visit, Vergas Llosa will meet with top Montenegrin officials, prominent local writers and, of course, his readers.
