World condemns bomb attack in Turkey's Kayseri

World leaders and other members of the international community have expressed their condolences and condemnation following the Dec. 17 car bomb attack in the Central Anatolian province of Kayseri which killed 14 soldiers and wounded 56 others.

The United States condemned the "cowardly attack," showing solidarity with the country against terror.

Cyprus peace talks to restart in Geneva after recess

Cyprus talks aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the more-than forty-year-old conflict of the eastern Mediterranean island are set to restart on Nov. 20 in Switzerland following a one week recess.

Intensified U.N. sponsored talks were held in Switzerland's Mont Pelerin from Nov. 7 to 11, although there was no precise statement as expected at the end of the talks.

Turkey and UK have 'huge potential' in finance

Britain's ambassador to Turkey has praised the economic ties between his country and Ankara, saying the U.K. "has a lot to offer to Turkey in terms of partnership."

Richard Moore was speaking during a two-day economic conference that gathered experts and academics from the banking and insurance sectors in Istanbul on Feb. 18.
