Four probes under way into 'trillionare' Sorras, says minister
Justice Minister Stavros Kontonis on Friday told lawmakers in Athens that a prosecutor is currently investigating four misdemeanor case files compiled against self-proclaimed "trillionaire" Artemis Sorras, who claims to have enough money to pay off Greece's entire public debt and that of its citizens.
Greece's Supreme Court says servicemen unlikely to face fair trial in Turkey
Greece's Supreme Court on Thursday rejected an extradition request for eight Turkish servicemen who fled their country by helicopter after a coup attempt.
Presiding judge Giorgos Sakkas, reading out the decision, said the servicemen were unlikely to face a fair trial if returned to Turkey.

Supreme Court reopens cases relating to self-proclaimed billionaire Sorras
Supreme Court prosecutor Xeni Dimitriou on Thursday ordered the reopening of all case files relating to the activities of Artemis Sorras, the self-proclaimed billionaire and leader of nationalist political grouping Convention of Greeks.
Most of the case files relate to calls by Sorras's organization for Greeks not to pay their dues to the state and social insurance funds.
