Bulgarian President will Lay a Wreath at the Memorial of the Martyrs in Beirut

A wreath to the Memorial of the Martyrs, where the Lebanese public honors their heroes from the struggles for independence, will be presented on Wednesday by Bulgarian President Rumen Radev in Beirut on the second day of his visit to Lebanon. Last night he met with Bulgarians living and working in Lebanon, as well as Lebanese citizens who studied in Bulgaria.

Turkish foreign minister discusses ties with Indian counterpart

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu has met with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj during the latter's official visit to Ankara.

The two ministers held a closed door meeting on the afternoon of Jan. 16 at the Foreign Ministry building in the capital after briefly posing for photographers.

Qatari labor report offers solutions but is unlikely to reduce pressure on World Cup host

A long-awaited Qatar Foundation report recommends a radical overhaul of the labor recruitment system in Asian labor exporting countries as well as the Gulf state that expects to host the 2022 World Cup.
 
The report however stops short of calling for the abolition of Qatar’s widely criticized kafala or sponsorship system.
