Dimitrijevic: Around 22,000 voters from Kosovo-Metohija have voted by 6 pm

BELGRADE - The head of Serbia's national electoral commission Vladimir Dimitrijevic said that, by 6 pm, around 22,000 voters from Kosovo-Metohija had voted at 51 polling stations in the south of central Serbia in Sunday's parliamentary elections.

At a press conference, Dimitrijevic said the voters from Kosovo-Metohija had cast their ballots in Vranje, Raska, Tutin and Kursumlija.

On Thursday at midnight, the election silence comes into force and ends on Sunday at 20:00 with the closing of the polling stations.
On Sunday, December 17, 6,500,165 registered voters will be able to exercise their right to vote at one of a total of 8,273 polling stations.

Commenting on the slight leap in the number of new patients in the previous days, Kon said that hotspots had appeared in Novi Pazar and Tutin.
"The appearance of new cases on respirators does not confirm the assumption that the virus has weakened. If it attacked someone who is chronically ill, it would be very dangerous," Kon said.
