Former Man Utd forward Martial joins AEK Athens
Former France forward Anthony Martial, who left Manchester United in June after nine years at the club, has joined AEK Athens, the top-flight club has said.
The 28-year-old has signed for the 13-times Greek champions on a free transfer and will earn 2.5 million pounds (€2.96 million) per season, making him one of AEK's highest earners, British media reports said.

Greek soccer powerhouse AEK sold to shipowner Marios Iliopoulos
Owner of Greek soccer powerhouse AEK, Dimitris Melissanidis, announced in a written statement on Monday the sale of the club to shipowner Marios Iliopoulos.
After thanking AEK fans for their support Mellisannidis announced he is leaving the club. "Forgive me, but my journey has reached its final destination. I hand over the reins to shipowner Marios Iliopoulos," he stated.
Last suspects facing charges for August soccer violence released
The last of the 105 suspects charged after last August's violent incidents outside the AEK stadium in Nea Filadelfia, Athens, which resulted in the fatal injury of AEK supporter Michalis Katsouris, have been released from custody.
Investigating examining magistrates granted the petitions submitted by the remaining individuals being held on remand in connection with the case.

Police did not use information correctly to prevent soccer violence says minister
