The Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) imposed a fine of 2.57 million BGN to the Bulgarian company "Balkam Group" OOD upon complaint by Jacobs Dow Eggberts Ltd. EOOD. A penalty of BGN 40 000 was imposed on his trading partner Agro Foods Buglia EOOD.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has said it is providing $48 million to Tiryaki Agro, boosting Turkey's leading agricultural products exporter and supporting its expansion into new markets, day-to-day business and new investments.
