Felicity, Future parties form joint group in parliament

The Felicity Party and the Future Party have agreed to form a joint group in the Turkish parliament.

The new group, represented under the umbrella of the Felicity Party, will be led by Selçuk Özdağ, the Muğla deputy of the Future Party. According to the agreement, each party will have a representative as the group's vice-chair.

Opposition leaders visit quake-hit regions in Eid al-Fitr

Nation Alliance leaders have visited earthquake-affected provinces of Türkiye on first day of Eid al-Fitr on April 21.

Nation Alliance presidential candidate and Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu visited Adıyaman, while chair of İYİ (Good) Party Meral Akşener was in Malatya on April 21.

Turkish, Russian, Syrian, Iranian ministers to meet early May: Çavuşoğlu

A meeting between the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Russia, Iran and Syria is expected to be held in Moscow next month, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on April 10.

"We think it will happen in a period at the beginning of May, according to the preliminary information we received from the Russians. It will be hosted by Russia in Moscow," Çavuşoğlu said in a televised interview.

Russian top diplomat due in Ankara for bilateral, regional talks

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on April 7 in the Turkish capital Ankara, in which bilateral political, trade and energy issues will dominate the agenda along with regional developments regarding the war in Ukraine and civil war in Syria.
