FedEx to open global air transit facility at Istanbul Airport
FedEx Express Europe, a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation and the world's largest express transportation company, has signed an agreement to build a new global air transit facility at iGA Istanbul Airport by November 2024.

Turkish Cargo, the rising logistics brand of Turkish Airlines, has ranked first in Europe and fourth in the world among air cargo companies with its total transportation performance, according to the World Air Transport Statistics published annually by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Turkish Cargo selected fastest growing brand of the year
Turkish Cargo, the air cargo brand of the flag carrier Turkish Airlines, has been awarded the "Fastest Growing International Cargo Airline of the Year" at the "International Award for Excellence in Air Cargo" ceremony organized by Stat Trade Times magazine.

Turkish Cargo ranked third among the world's top global freighters in June, a statement said on Aug. 5.

The subsidiary of national flag carrier Turkish Airlines jumped three positions from last year.
Turkish Cargo had the "largest growth ratio among the top 25 air cargo carriers, with a 5.7% market share in June 2021," the statement said.

Turkey's national air cargo brand Turkish Cargo has achieved the highest growth rate - 16.6 percent - among the top 25 air cargo carriers worldwide, according to an industry group.
