Students develop seeding tool to re-green burned forests

With an aim to re-green the burned forestlands, Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University students have developed a seeding tool named "Seedrone," which can do seeding from the air.

A group of students from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Vocational School of Technical Sciences has developed a project for the re-greening of forests damaged by fires.

Homeless man sentenced to house arrest in Istanbul

A homeless man has been sentenced to house arrest for using and selling drugs in Istanbul's Kadıköy district, Doğan News Agency reported.

Barış Alkan, 31, is not allowed to step outside the boundaries of a confined public area near a city bus station in the Söğütlüçeşme neighborhood because it is listed as his address in court records.

Russia?s tourism giant Tez Tour?s Turkish unit Alkan Group has requested for the suspension of bankruptcy for over 322 million Turkish Liras ($136.3 million) of debts due to the economic problems in Russia and Egypt. The company brought over 1 million tourists to Turkey last year.
